Regional Indoor Soccer League

Post by Dan K » Sun Jun 14, 2009 5:36 pm

The new Regional Indoor Soccer League [www.regionalindoorsoccerleague.com] plans to start play in November 2010. The web site currently lists 20 teams nationwide that will be split into regional divisions to cut travel costs. The RISL is owned and operated by South American business interests.

Right now, this is about as credible as the USBA.

I'll wait until all of the teams have venues, at least, before I get terribly interested.

if this soccer league were a summer league in non mls cities it would give mls some competition while filling up vacant venues in the summer !
