NBA legend Steve Nash launches professional soccer career

Apparently he trained this week the New York Cosmos B Team (NPSL) and he may play Sunday against Rhode Island at Mitchel Field next to the Nassau Coliseum.

As a coda to this story, Nash was not listed as an eligible player in the Cosmos B's 5-0 win over Rhode Island.
