Champions Indoor Football: The Texas Revolution of the CIF is staying in the Dallas area, but is moving from Allen to Frisco for the 2018 season. The Revolution joined the CIF for the 2015 season after playing two seasons (2011-12) as the Allen Wranglers and two seasons (2013-14) as the Texas Revolution in the Indoor Football League.

This report would signal the end of the Revs. a move to Frisco without any supporting fan base already in place will be the end, the affiliated minor league baseball team will kill off any opportunity for a shared fan base once they open up the 2018 season usually in April where will the fan base come from for the Revs.

Who are relocating without a paying fan base, they have plenty of facebook followers but not in the stands on game day.

We've already covered the fact that the Revs are well known to have payroll problems they have every season, so operating with even less support, expect the announcement after the 2018 season of we are going to take a year off (But we are going to return)

Enjoy this 2018 season of the Revs because its quite possibly the final season. They could also announce the team will be sold

I'm surprised they survived the Terrell Owens debacle. TO alienated himself from the team and few fans who were not alienated already. The team was alienated from the rest of the league, especially after TO's demand for (I think it was $15,000) from the opposing teams or he wouldn't travel with the team.
The Dr. Pepper Arena is a little smaller than the Allen Events Center. I don't know what the rent prices are (The AEC was run by the city. The Dr. Pepper Arena is owned by the city, but managed by the Dallas Stars).
I suppose if this doesn't work, they could go to the NYTEX Arena. There's a rodeo arena in Mesquite that a team tried to use several years ago in a non-pro league, but the team didn't last long.

NK, the rent at the Allen location wasn't the only problem, they had someone who was an insider in the arena within the ownership group already so they may be leaving because they owe some cash to arena, while you hear Tim Brown's name a lot when it comes down to this team.

There are others who own part of that team, the main problem is they simply don't have a fan base that they can build on.

About the Mesquite arena, the CIF (Mesquite) Dallas Marshall have played there the last two seasons. But they are not in any better situation than the Revs. as word has them relocating somewhere in Dallas for next season, they to have no game day fan support (while airing the home games live on a local TV channel) :? ??: I know right!

So the problem is bigger than arena rent, CenTx suffered from this problem as well recall that they moved from San Angelo to Belton because of no fan base, to now taking a year off (Okay we hear you) they won't return and if they did simply (why)

Before closing whatever happened to this situation, nothing from the NAL office indicating on going events pertaining to this release, and they wonder why so few people follow the sport.

The NAL expansion deadline is August 15.

“We feel that all member teams must be ready to go by mid-August in order to maintain a sound business model, Gregory continued. We are aiming for an October 1 schedule for our teams to maximize season ticket and group sales opportunities. It is football and we all love arena football, but it is the business of football and we must implement these strategies to maintain a strong foundation for success.”

Texas Revolution is the CIF champs and located in the 4th largest metro stat. area yet can't draw. Says it all. CIF is a Single A league in a AAA sport.

Jax in NAL had almost 10k for championship on a Monday in a town 1/4 the size, Soul in AFL had almost 14k in a slightly smaller than dallas market.

Sioux Falls is jumping to them along with Wichita Falls from IFL. I see why WF jumped but SF is better than that...

I hope the rest of the IFL stays put or joins the NAL...

NAL has been locking in trade names so lets see what happens there.
