NAL championship

Post by 4th&long » Sun Jul 02, 2017 3:26 pm

The Jax Sharks from the AFL now 'leading' their own league are in the championship. They have done a good job in a short time despite some early dogs in the league. Game is on 7/10

I think the "indoor style" of indoor-arena FB is more like outdoor FB.

Jacksonville wins it, moving forward the league will be ran through them look for the IFL to fall under Arizona control setting the stage for a merger, and allowing the NAL to start building that national platform.

The Reapers mentioned in the weekly report on this site has little to no chance of entering the NAL now, and the Rough Riders attempted to stay away from a high budget league so they may look but that's about all it will be is window shopping.

As for the CIF it will be cherry picked, leaving what is left of it and the left out IFL teams to merge into something.

All of this may not happen by next season but after the 2018 season the winds of change blow in.

After much deliberation, we have made the decision not to play football for the 2018 season to allow ourselves time to explore our alternatives including identifying potential local partners who would like to join in the effort to continue indoor football in Spokane or an outright sale of the team. (Spokane media release)

IFL down two teams with Wichita also talking about leaving or moving to Tulsa (Yeah ok ;) they are not playing in 2018, and the answer as to the why no audience base will be their in either location, ask CenTex how that relocation went this season.
Arizona will ascend to the leadership roll and move to talk with Jacksonville about a merger
