A lot of former/current Arena Football cities. We will see if this league even plays.

Las Vegas, Denver, Oklahoma City, Austin, San Antonio, Kansas City, Little Rock,
New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa

All of their listed sponsors (and their first team) are from Austin.

Seems like Austin's people just trying to start their own league. Which, given the state of the AFL, would be less of a non-starter than it might otherwise be.

Those other cities are probably either hopefuls or vaporware.

Also, oh, it's John Fourcade behind it.

Then perhaps they shouldn't have him as the first guy on their Board of Directors.

Yeah, if they can't be out front and open about who's really in charge of the league, what does that tell us?

Vegas, New Orleans, Tampa... and San Antonio (folded last year) and Austin (in the mixer for New Orleans)?

Is this merely a direct shot across the bow of the AFL, or is this the breakaway that threatens the AFL? I can understand a pirate mentality in this case. If it's the former, of course, LOL.

You act as if the AFL hasn't done enough self-threatening lately. :)

You know how people kind of leave a group... and vow to return at the end just to watch the leadership gasping/whining/fuming/eating crow?

I see a lot of people at Arena Fan checking off the individual boxes en route to the inevitable demise. I figured I could help.
