Ok we all know that a salary cap has had many flaws in the Indoor/Arena football world. So with that being said why not have a salary floor for a league without a cap? Hell nothing else seems to work why not try that?

The salary cap protects the owners from themselves. Without a cap, it becomes really difficult to sell the sport as a business to potential owners.

I can't even comprehend what you are suggesting here.

With a bottom accepted salary base. You may compromise by indicating that just anyone with the minimum, can be foolish enough to invest in a team.

From a competitive level, you cannot even come close to figuring who would sign where, and for how much.

When I look at a salary floor I'm looking at say 1800 with a cap at 3000. That is for the players only. I look at all the travel teams an under to no funded teams I believe it would give owners a chance to build. Yes some would take some lumps but it would prove to be far more stable then so many of the travel teams all the leagues have. Just an explanation of the crazy idea.
