Violent Hit in NFL

Post by suge night » Tue Dec 05, 2017 3:40 pm

The game between Pittsburg and Cincy, was full of old school knockout football. But the sales force didn't get the memo Gruden and the other salesman commentating on the game were so disappointed in what they were witnessing live, yet on the NFL network you can still see replays of violent hits.

They can't have it both ways, and to top last nights action off,a player LB attempts to make a tackle with his head down and left the game with a serious injury (even though the marketing arm of the nfl has created a marketing concept built around keeping the head up in fact its called (heads up football) you see players still leading with the head. Question here is can the nfl be considered a leader in talking about or even teaching the technical skills of tackling, sure their are teams like Seattle teaching the new era skills for tackling but the league as a whole fails, when you watch just about any game and still see players leading with the helmet down.

Oh final point I mentioned the sales force (when you watch a TV game the commentators aren't offering you the fan a clear and unbiased vision of the game, they are selling you a product its done so slick that you average Joe fan don't even know you're being sold a product.

If don't think so next time you watch a game see it from a perspective of buzz words and goodness of the product.

Even soccer questions what you see in real time, not the MLS the other version of the sport.
