I've posted about this before first good for him, but being signed doesn't mean much because in training camp the teams need warm bodies for practice some are only for a day or two .

Now the key to this is yes it places the player on the field with the actual coach who can make the judgment call upon whether he consider the player a professional talent based upon his accessing the ability.

In today's world most players can get this opportunity on their own by simply participating in the process and understanding the business of the sport.

The guy who ran a 4.9 40 at the combine?

Yeah, we need to create a league for people like him. Like they're going to get faster as they get older and play against other slow guys.
Old enough to remember when bashing the ABA was fun.

And Grinnage was released yesterday.

Another Spring League success story.

Add Tyquwan Glass.
Signed by the Rams on August 22, cut over the weekend.

Woods will never give the actual number of those signed compared to those who made the opening day 53.

What was last year's roster percentage? Less than 10%?

None of the "Carolina Six" signed following the Greenbrier camp even made the 90-man. 20 guys from Greenbrier were on the opening camp 90.

FYI, the FXFL tryout fees in 2014 were $85 and $125 for their planned 2015 west coast tryouts; they're triple that now.

And this is without any indication that scale is possible, with this concept he's simply raised the price without any such merit of support for it.

Any number he gives will be made up.
