Since the first WABA season is almost over...

Let's look at the standings:

Chicago Lady Steam:
0 wins, 2 losses, 3 missed games, two games left to not play

Jersey Expressions:
1 win, 1 loss. Actually played both their scheduled games.

Flint Monarchs:
5 wins, 0 losses. Impressive. 1 game cancelled, and one game against Chicago "postponed". Two games left to play or not to play, although one is against Chicago.

Lakewood Lady Panthers:
No schedule.

New England Falcons:
Can't find any hints such a team exists.

Philly "WABA is as good as WNBA" Love:
Website deactivated, no schedule.

So, overall, just like the ABA.

From this article [http://www.mlive.com/sports/flint/index ... _wom.html] it looks like the WABA was to include Chicago Lady Steam, Louisville Fillies, Philadelphia Love, Pittsburgh Super Stars, New Jersey Expressions and Flint Monarchs. From some other mlive.com articles, it looks like Flint played games against Louisville, Chicago and Pittsburgh. The Flint Monarchs moved to the WABA from the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League. It looks like the Pittsburgh Super Stars could be the Johnstown Super Stars of the 2014 WBCBL and the Louisville Fillies also played in the 2014 WBCBL.

The New Jersey Expressions played some teams from the Beautiful Ballers League, but not sure if they or the Philadelphia Love played any WABA games.

One last game was played, with Flint beating Chicago, so Flint is the WABA first season winners, having won 2 games against Chicago.
