Per USBasket.com, it looks like the CBL finally got off the ground and has started a 2016-17 season with four teams.

Another USBasket post says the league is playing under FIBA rules and using facilities with a capacity of at least 2,000.
A schedule at http://www.canadianbasketball.com has teams playing 7-8 games through January.
