The Elite International Basketball Association is a new professional basketball league.

The difference is that the EIBA is a true International league with teams playing in USA and International divisions. In addition, the league has a youth division (the EIYBA) that grooms both boys and girls to excel at basketball from the ages of 7 to 18.

The league will kick off with an Easter Showcase on March 25-27 at the US Cellular Arena in Asheville, NC. The Showcase will feature 8 teams from both the USA and International divisions playing exhibition games and hosting clinics.

The regular season will kick off June 4th.

Teams are still joining. At this time, the league has 22 teams. 14 in the USA, and 8 International (Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the Ukraine, the Philippines, and New Zealand).
