NEBA 2015 Ready To Go

At the weekly league conference call, the following changes were made to the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

The 2015 Season will start in mid-November and run through the end of January with the following ten teams taking part:

Arkansas Swish
Austin Knights
CFL Marvel (Orlando)
Garland Hoyas
Houston Xperience
Hub City Cyclones
Lafayette Legends
Memphis Lions
Miami Live
San Antonio Kings

The 2015 Season will be 8 games long with a 4-team playoffs to crown a champion.

The 2016 Season will run from March 2016 until July 2016 and will feature all 20 teams playing a 24 game schedule.

The reason for this change is simple. 10 of our teams are already active organizations that have full rosters and have recently completed other schedules. The other 10 are startups. This staggered start gives those startup teams some extra time to get their marketing, player, and other efforts completed without the additional time pressure.
