ATLANTA SHOW IS THE LATEST TEAM IN THE NEW ERA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
Houston, TX October 16th - The Athens of the South joins the New Era Basketball Association with the addition of the Atlanta Show.
Co-Owners and Co-Coaches David Kessler and Rod Kirschner will be bringing the team to the basketball hotbed that is the Atlanta metro area in time for the 2015-16 season. Although most games will be played in the city, the Show will also have some home games in mid-Georgia to satisfy the states great basketball fans.
A few months ago, we got in touch with Commissioner David Swisher to talk about the NEBA league. said David Kessler. I was very impressed with the vision and professionalism of the league. The marketing and revenue systems that they have put in place just havent been done before in minor-league basketball. Its going to allow us to put on a great show both on and off the court.
The Show will open their 2015-16 season on Saturday, December 19th in Orlando, Florida in a game against the CFL Marvel.
The mission of the NEBA League is to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to the NBA, NBDL, and International Scouts, while providing the community an exciting brand of basketball. New Era, EA Sports, BOP TV, 20/20 Apparel, Hoop Culture, and Ball 4 Life have all been named official sponsors for the NEBA League. A Partnership with 20/20 apparel will make the NEBA League the only minor league basketball association that will have players with their own shoes. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
