MLB is getting sued for minor league salaries failing to meet minimum wage. If the MLB loses this suit, these guys will be toast.

Maybe , but these players could be considered contract labor as opposed to employees.

Wichita Falls Spudders - Pecos League

Post by crixus » Sun Dec 27, 2015 7:11 am

Wichita Falls, Texas is getting a Pecos League team. They're trying to get the stadium fixed up in time to play this season. If not, the Spudders will be at bat in 2017. Here's hoping they get the stadium finished in time to play this season.

"In case you hadn't noticed, and judging by last night's attendance, you hadn't" (with apologies to Harry Doyle), Topeka and Great Bend both folded, but the league is expanding to Amarillo (taking advantage of the loss of the AirHogs and Sox/Thunderheads in the last couple of years). I suppose if the new Amarillo team draws what the AirHogs did, they would be the Pecos League attendance leaders.
