CenTex News?

Post by suge night » Mon Sep 12, 2016 2:15 am

By chance did anyone attend the CenTex news conference on last Thursday when they announced the field sponsor and the head coach?

Apparently they didn't either there is nothing on any site they have listed on event, it appears they didn't think this entire thing through very well.

Breaking into any news cycle in that area will be tough during the fall as high school sports is second to Baylor news so imagine a indoor football team attempting to create news in that storm, then they appear to drop the ball themselves as they fail to put up there own news on the controlled team website/facebook hopefully they get it together but things don't hold well as it appears right now, but maybe the weekly news Franchise Report here (this site) will report the news.

After hearing the explanation, of why the team relocated from San Angelo maybe the owner has lost some of the fire he once had for ownership and instead of simply folding completely, this thing could die a horrible death in central Texas being gutted like Jason would have done the job in the old Friday 13th movies. Good luck CenTex I know its still early in the game, but don't wait until halftime to adjust.

Being a Central Texas team, wouldn't it be more like Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The CIF was the only indoor football league to have all their previous season teams play every game in 2016 and return in 2017 to play.

This little note was included in the CIF press release for the Ironmen announcement, some how they forgot the San Angelo team folded after the 2016 season and its reincarnation as the Calvary isn't going well.
