A smaller PIFL?
There is one other possibility. Lehigh Valley could join Erie, Marion & Saginaw in the revived CIFL.
That would be interesting.. That would make only one trip to Saginaw of about 9hrs. Erie @ 5.5hrss and Marion straight across I 80 @7hrs
Now if Buffalo joins the CIFL that comes in at @5.5hrs
Actually all doable without a hotel stay Throw in a trip to Chicago @11hrs and now depending on the generosity of the owner, he might do an overnighter.
JM and the AIF have problems completing games.
I would think a quality org like LV would look at the CIFL2
I also believe the CIFL has learned some lessons on allowing the bar-room budget teams in, ala the AIF

Unless something changes, Lehigh Valley's going to the AIF.

Richmond dropped out of the PIFL today (as it's their belief that the league was down to as few as 3 teams for 2016). Unless a new league springs up that is geographically correct, they're going to sit out 2016.

"Review of these factors for the 2016 season at this point has not identified a league situation within our geographic area with which we are comfortable. If something changes, we will consider each situation on its merits."

The PIFL had a lot of professionalism in performance and game glitz.
The main problem as I see it the owners were all in for themselves and cared not to better the league.
Ex. I know they were offered a 1/2 hr TV weekly show covering games, players etc. This seemed a good way to sell the quality of the league and stars in localized areas. This I thought would increase excitement among fans and increase attendance.
I guess the owners didn't want to pony up the money to possibly help other owners. After talking to several sources I'm left with the opinion the owners were all for me and that's it.
Nothing really to grow the prestige of the league.
