After 12 weeks of play here's the PIFL att numbers ranked by average home attendance.
1) Columbus 15,324 fans /5 home games=3,065 att good for Ave 40.5% of capacity
2) Alabama 8,502 / 4 = 2,125 att ave 32.2% of cap
3) Richmond 10,442 / 5hg= 2,088 att ave 18.8% of cap
4) Lehigh Valley 9,346 / 6 = 1,558 att ave 21.8% of cap
5) Erie 8,897 / 5 = 1,483 att ave 21.7% of cap
6) Nashville 7,213 / 5 = 1,443 att ave 18% of cap
7) Trenton 5,322 /5 = 1,064 att ave 20% of cap

The numbers come from official reported att total /divided by home games.
Problem lies in the fact that some teams have played home games and have not reported an attendance figure. I can not put in a fictional number therefore all no reported game att figs stand as a zero and are averaged in as such.
Columbus has numbers for all 5 hg so far, while LValley has reported numbers of 3,733... 3,103.... 2,510... no report = 0, no report = 0, no report =0.
Thus LV's total att is 9,346 / 6hg =1,558 ave and ave 18.2% of capacity filled arena.
All that said some owners are late in reporting att. I Therefore ck the stat page on a daily basis to upgrade my charts. The above are current.

First off, they're pretty much all "fictional numbers." :)

Secondly, you could just not use any games without a reported figure as a number in the denominator. You'd get a more reasonable assessment by just leaving out any unreported games rather than further dividing your small sample by larger numbers. #mathgeek

Hi Sam,
While I agree most are all fictional numbers, but they are the numbers that are in the record book. If they lie that is not my fault. I go by what is reported.

Yes I've done that for the last 7yrs. What you're saying is, that Erie's 1st game drew 3,811 fans s Erie had 2 fiascos one game drew 732 fans and the other a last day change of game dates to mother's day that joke drew 473 ugly. Am I not to report the poor games and give an inaccurate figure of a 3,811 ave att. Anyone who attended either of those games would know that is a bold face lie. All credibility gone. If I treat all teams equally and add in a ZERO for a non reported game it also gives the teams a chance to report a truer number and a correction then made. Some teams have had bad att days for whatever reason, they may want to save themselves embarrassment by not reporting a low number, and if they fail to report att they should do so knowing it won't help the ave att.

From the Steelhawks official PIFL stats page
ATTENDANCE.................... 9346
Games/Avg Per Game.......... 6/1558
In this case 3 game att were reported totaling 9346 the last 1st 3 games att were not reported. Hence games of 3711, 3103, 2510, 0, 0, & 0

I'm just following the standard put forth the PIFL, the Stat Boys and just about any other league that tracts stats.
My numbers are in accordance with the PIFL stat page.
