Wow!!! After an exciting last week of play (I know Albany still has to play Columbus one more time) and the playoff matchups set, I would love to get peoples impressions of the matchups and predictions.

Richmond to win it all...at home vs Albany.

I will go with the two hottest teams right now:

#3 Lehigh Valley @ #1 Alabama for the title.

I've got,

Alabama over Albany, Albany is not as good as they have been the last two years, they lost a very good WR to injury for the season. They just lost to LV and still have to play Columbus, I just don't see them beating the Hammers. With the way the Hammers defense is playing nobody is beating them at home.

Richmond over LV, just a feeling, LV is solid but I like the home team, if it was being played at LV I would probably take them.

Championship
Alabama over Richmond, again the Hammers defense is playing lights out and have peaked at the perfect time, Richmond gave up six sacks to the Hammers and four turnovers last time. As I said nobody is beating the Hammers at home.

Richmond is the obvious underdog here. But the team certainly isn't going to make the drive to Huntsville just to lay down and let the Hammers win. I can tell you the players are hungry for a title.
