Frontrunners
Just trying to stir the pot here, but who do you all think is the pre-season "team to beat" based off of off-season moves and new teams joining the league? Rank 1-8...
I go...
1. Albany (Obvious as defending champions and years of success)
2. Lehigh (Seem to be making a lot of good signings this off-season)
3. Columbus (Always tough with Coach Gibson at helm)
4. Richmond (Fuller will have them abck in playoffs)
5. Knoxville (Could have Alabama and Knoxville interchangeable here, but must wait and see how new coach takes over)
6. Alabama (Same as Knoxville)
7. Louisiana (Haven't heard much)
8. Charlotte (Always tough for an expansion team to get going, but could also surprise people)

LV should make a splash...Excited to see them have some new rivalries this year. I imagine LV/Richmond will be a fun new rivalry. Just seeing some of their returning players and new signings for this year makes me real excited. I know Coach Thompson comes from an arena background so I think he'll do great in this league as opposed to IFL rules. Should be fun...Can it be March already?
But even as an LV fan, until they are unseated, Albany is the team to beat!

I think Alabama and Knoxville both will be very tough. Cokinos is a proven coach and Cosmo has always been a great coordinator.
Albany and Columbus will be tough again, as well as Richmond, of course.
I expect Lehigh to compete along with Charlotte.
Louisiana is just so far away, nobody knows about them, but they've been around so long that it's hard to count them out.
