You win a cardboard cookie if you can find the name of someone who has been down the whole "scam basketball league" thing before.

When I saw they were charging $350 for tryouts, all I could think of was AAPBL. There's no way a league playing in random spots around Vegas could afford some of the claimed salaries they're allegedly paying.

With their website down, and no real information about this league, I'd say its done.

And some wonder why longtime minor league observers get suspicious when leagues are announced by people with no digital record or those who remain anonymous.

BTW, Google cached the "CERRUTI BROWN IS GLENDON ALEXANDER" message from the league's website.

Either I was blocked from their Facebook page, or their Facebook page is gone, after I posted the ESPN story there.

Funny how that happens.

I expect to be threatened with a lawsuit next.

Their facebook pages have been removed, but twitter pages are still alive, although not active.

Sounds like the guy had an extensive digital record — in the FBI and other law enforcement databases.
