Missouri Voodoo

Post by Dan K » Sun Feb 16, 2014 4:52 pm

The UIFL (http://www.uiflfootball.com) announced the Missouri Voodoo (Springfield) as its fourth team. The Voodoo played the past two spring seasons as the SouthWest Missouri Voodoo in the Central Plains Football League, which plays eight-man outdoor football on a 50-yard field. I found a link to a year-old post from the owner on the IFF forum. It looks like they are taking over the arena that was home to the former Springfield WolfPack of the American Professional Football League.

I know they used the arena last year, they also have their own bus which will help a bit with travel costs.

It wasn't an arena. It was an ice rink with a seating capacity of about 1,000.
