Well 2 interesting stories out of Johnstown. Would love to see things work eventually but at this point its anyone's guess. I reality I would have to say the entire world of indoor/arena football is on the edge of oblivion. If you dont think it is please prove to me otherwise with facts.

today's Trib-Dem (J's rag) said the J-Gens were to play to play the
NW Pa Sting both teams own by the same guy.
You'd think that would be a "gimme" but, since he hadn't paid his
players for awhile maybe they walked out at game time.
Don't know enough to say anything for sure but I believe tonight's
game was CXL'd.

Bad news all around.
will see how this all shakes out in a few days.

Yes, the owner of both teams played the game with scrub players anyway, but the league doesn't recognize it since Haines did not reinstate them back into the league (about one of the few good things Haines has done, but he brought about the problem to begin with so I won't congratulate him too much).

That's the way I saw it. He owns both teams so last weeks Joe Smoe
is this weeks Smoe Joe playing for the other team.
He may have put on the game so he wouldn't have to pay back any season
tkt holders and also a chance to suck the last dollar out of any diehard fans.

That's what I get for saying something good about Haines. Evidently Haines has now reinstated both teams back into the league and the game counts (but no press release). Only the AIF is worse than the UIFL this year.
