And given Rome has a win, they're clearly the most organized of them (WPA is organized; they're just not very good).

Huntington's going to get creamed.

It'll be some sort of semipro team that plays the role of Huntington, I'd guess.
Rome schedule shows 14 games.
Sting schedule shows 11 games.
Hammer schedule shows 4 games.
The schedule on Rome’s site is an old one. It includes A) home games and B) games against Carolina and Tennessee, both of which folded. The breakdown is:

Western Pennsylvania Sting- 11 games (play all the eight teams with a home at least once, with a second game against Erie and two additional games against Johnstown accounting for the other three).
Rome Renegades- 9 games (play all four teams with a home in the South twice, plus one game at Cincinnati).
Huntington Hammer- 4 games (one game against each of the four teams with a home in the North).

It works out well in the South- everyone plays two home games against Rome and one against Western PA.
The North is more uneven, with Johnstown getting four games against travel teams, Erie and Cincy three, and Marion only two (getting to play Eastern Ky twice instead).

My concern as a Cincinnati fan is that the next two home games are Huntington and Western PA. A prime reason for making the jump to the UIFL was better competition week-in, week-out. Playing Johnstown at home to start was a good example, but these next two games look like they will be nothing but ugly. After that it should get back to normal, but how many fans will get turned off by back-to-back blowouts, thinking it’s the same old thing again?

It is the same old thing again, but just a tad better. There are a few more competitive teams in the UIFL than what's in the CIFL. Ha, they even brought their main competition (Marion) from the CIFL over with them.

It looks like the league didn't vet the owners.
Just give me the franchise fee and you have a team.
Don't worry if you don't have a team, players or an arena.
I won't worry if you fold, we'll find some out of shape old
high school players to fill in.
I only worry that your cheque clears.
That should be "Commandos Dominate," or even better would be "Commandos Dominate Generals."

"Commandos dominated" by itself implies someone beat the snot out of them instead.
That would apply if he were submitting his post to a newspaper. However, he clearly was implying that [the] Commandos Dominated [johnstown]. I think we can let that sort of thing slide. Don't you?
