It truly is a shell game... he did the same thing years ago with the Atlantic Indoor Football League ( AIFL ) getting embroiled in lawsuits left and right and then selling the rights to Mink and Morris who would rename it the American Indoor Football Association ( AIFA ) if I remember it correctly.
It is amazing that this happens and continues to happen... Oh Well we shall see what happens...
He didn't sell anything to Morris. Morris started the AIFA out from under Haines, which may have been the only "good" thing he did.
Haines was in a lawsuit at the time, and the team owners feared they might get attached to it, or have to pay part of the settlement. That's why the AIFL became the AIFA.

Exactly. And Morris led that group.
They probably weren't wrong in that. The AIFL was a mess by then.

Good to see my years of following indoor football in the limelight and things have just not changed.
I don't know why I keep coming back to even see what's going on. I'm like the battered spouse coming back hoping they've changed. They never do.
MLS and high school football do not give me this much grief.

Addictions do come in many forms. Besides we'd miss you if you jumped ship.I keep trying to walk away, but that addiction never lets me get very far.
