SouthWest PA Magic in trouble?

Post by Dan K » Sun Oct 19, 2014 2:49 pm

The FHL's expansion SouthWest Pennsylvania Magic (Greenburg) is having ownership issues and had to cancel its first two scheduled home games this weekend. See the "Notes" at the bottom of this article:

I am hardly surprised by this. The FHL has shown no ability to determine good ownership or good markets, and this is just another example.

The scary part of all this is one of the leading scorers for the winning team was playing in an adult rec league.

Oh, the Federal League. There's AAA hockey, AA hockey, A hockey and then....F hockey, I think.
Old enough to remember when bashing the ABA was fun.

Farewell "SouthWest PA Magic", hello "Steel City Warriors"

Same arena....Maybe League owned now?

Danville and Dayton really need a team in this geographic location. Hopefully, it will work out.
Adios, OSC message boards. (2007-2017)
