If the Panthers loose.... Go Hammers.

If the Albany Panthers losse this tonight, they'll have to make the long trip to Erie for a 1st round playoff game.
Don't ask me how bur it was reported in the Erie Times-News this morning.

Explosion enjoy bye, wait for playoff foe
Erie Times-News

Erie Explosion will enjoy a week off from the SIFL wars, but they'll be plenty interested in another league game scheduled for tonight.
The Explosion, who wrapped up the Northern Division title with a 9-3 record after their 71-32 win over the Harrisburg Stampede last week, appear set to take on the Albany Panthers in a first-round playoff matchup June 18.
But a regular-season finale tonight that does not involve the Explosion could determine where the Erie team opens the playoffs.
According to the Explosion's website, league officials are still trying to nail down the upcoming playoff sites but if the current plan remains in place, Albany would host the Illusion if the Panthers win tonight's 7:30 home game against the Alabama Hammers.
However, a loss to the Hammers would send the Panthers packing for a date in Erie at the Tullio Arena on June 18. :)
Albany finished second in the Southern Division behind the division champion Columbus Lions, who pounded the Panthers 58-39 last week. Alabama brings a 4-7 record into tonight's game against Albany and is coming off a 92-12 win over the Fayetteville Force last week.
In the last matchup between Alabama and Albany, the Panthers prevailed 86-70 on May 21.

GO HAMMERS
