Pretty much spells it out.

So is it Official, John Morris has re-started the AIFA and they will begin play in 2012 and the first team will be Fayetteville and it will be league owned (Morris). Haven't we all been down this road before. It didnt work out the first time, why would anyone think it will round two. I guess the SIFL can not and will not announce the desolving of the league until after the season. This article spells it out. Just wonder how much Morris paid Bondo for this franchise. Makes one think what kind of deal they really had. Par for the course with this guy.

Harrisburg is owned by Morris, so expect them to be part of the new AIFA. They'll probably relocate to Baltimore though.

Is this the only guy on the East Coast who can run an indoor football league?If that be the case, I hope Erie goes with the CIFL.

I read the open letter several times and even though I have heard Morris plans on restarting the AIFA I'm not so sure that his ownership group isn't AIFA and possibly this letter doesn't point directly to a restart of what was clearly a failed model for a league. With all thats happening in the SIFL we don't need another piece of crap league. I also can not believe any who would research the AIFA and John Morris or any with past affiliations would be dumb enough to join him in any AIFA revival.

I feel Chad Dittman will restart a Texas league, maybe pull Louisiana with new ownership with them along with a few IFL Texas teams. Columbus may very well go UIFL and would pull Albany along. Erie most likely will go CIFL or UIFL and pretty obvious IFL Richmond done after this season clearly the way for SIFL Richmond to join that group. If all this comes to pass it ends the SIFL that looks to be a bigger joke with each new season. Last thing fans and communities need is another SIFL (AIFA) starting up on its failure. The other leagues mentioned may not be perfect, but a whole lot better in all areas than the SIFL or the AIFA model.

Plans to revive the AIFA and for the Force to be among its members in 2012 may be part of the future.

"Right now we are under obligation to the SIFL through this weekend,'' AIFA National Director Jack Bowman said Tuesday. "After that, we'll wait and see what the future holds."

It should be noted that Jack Bowman is also currently the GM of the Carolina Speed. There's another team that certainly looks AIFA bound. Not to put too fine a point on it, but thus far the AIFA isn't exactly getting the cream of the crop.
