Once again, Caballo is combative.
Tri, have you ever read what you type after you post? If you did you would realize how silly you sound.
Combative ?!?
99.9% of your posts are negative and slamming either the T-cats or the SIFL, if someone disagrees and rebutes your nonsense it's combative? What the heck are all of your attacks classified as?
I gave a positive response to a VERY GOOD article in the local paper just this week yet when I comment on the RIDICULOUS amount of post season awards you want to slam me.
And I believe I said "THANKS" for your positive response, they are few and far between.
Just becuase your opinion of the players, coaches, and office staffs being recognized for their efforts is rediculous doesn't mean everyone else does. And disagreeing isn't necessarily a slam. You just slammed them and now want to whine about me having a different opinion. Wow, a classic example of the pot calling the kettle black - lol
I could not care less about what you think of me.
In the words of Porky Pig,
I know you consider yourself the Grand Puba of the SIFL...The exhalted one....The Ayatolah of the indoor game... the Super Fan of THREE leagues....the man whose opinion is the only one that matters...
Once agin you know nothing of the subject or me. I've invited you to many tailgates to get to know me but you couldn't find the time. See how you throw out subtle attempts at insults all the while accusing others of being combative - haha
the guy who tells me to get a life yet is the one who has THOUSANDS of posts on MANY different boards....
And just where did I tell you to get a life? I said I can't understand why you spend time here when you seem to dislike everything about the league. Most don't frequent places they constantly disagree with, they pursue happier hobbies.
I on the other hand admit to loving the sport and supporting all of the leagues, thus I spend time on that hobby. How much time do people spend watching TV or movies? I've gone to the movie theatre twice in the past 30 years, don't even own a DVD player and rarely watch TV.
How much time do people spend playing video games? I have never played a play station, x-box. wii, etc, let alone own one. How much time to most people spend surfing the net and doing other things besides forums? It's rare for me to use the computer besides email and forums.
So you see, many people spend tons of time doing things that seem worthless to others, so what's your point? Just because one person doesn't enjoy or spend time doing the same things as you doesn't have anything to do with having a life or not. I've got a wonderful wife and a couple of kids active in sports which takes up quite a bit of my time. While you're watching TV, playing golf, or whatever it is you do besides bust on the SIFL I'm enjoying my hobby of the 50 yard game.
I just love when you respond in a multi-tiered post....
That's wonderful, I try to respond to items one by one while you just throw a generic blanket of negativity over everything. At least you know there's always something to read when you follow me around - lol

Who loves you Caballo!!
Wow, that list is far too long to post here but if you like PM me your name and address and I'll send out a Diablo Fan Club Membership starter kit. Don't worry, it's free. The President of the fan club lives in Florida, she's Lady Pred on the AFLMB, her real name is Marie and she's been to visit in Austin several times and been to dinner with me and my wife. Or just check us out at http://WWW.diabloworldwide. Business is BOOMING !

Kudos to the SIFL for giving out 410 awards. This level of football is a minor league, and anything a guy can add to his resume can do nothing but help his chances of playing at a higher level. That's not just the players, but other people involved with these team. Coaches, staff, etc.
Heck, the "Fan of the year" award even carries weight in some circles. One winner was able to parlay the award into a side job as a freelance writer.
So let's not bang on the league for dishing out the hardware, it's a great way to give back to the guys that make it go.
And remember kids, Daytona Beach is beautiful this time of year, and the Holiday Inn has a great view.

Just when I thought I was out....They pull me back in.

Turfcats Celebrate Successful 2009 Campaign
September 01, 2009
The Austin Turfcats held their first ever postseason party to a packed house at Hooters on Riverside Drive in Austin on Sunday. In attendance were players receiving post season Southern Indoor Football League awards. Most notably were the Lady Cats led by Michelle Guidry as they received Dance Squad of the year and Darrick Wallace as he accepted the Special Teams Player of the year award. The media department also received media relations award of the year.
Many season ticket holders were there wearing their green and gold and all took time to look back about the road to the President's Cup I.
"We are so glad for a great turnout these fans and players are so amazing," said Turfcats Vice President/General Manager Ronald Oswalt. The green home jerseys were auctioned off during the event to the highest bidder.
Several jerseys were held back for a special online auction coming soon at turfcats.com. The team expects the 2010 schedule to be released by December and special theme based game nights will follow soon after.
For any questions concerning the team or corporate special ticket packages, please contact the team at 866-969-8228 (TCAT). We would like to thank everyone for their support and we hope to see you in 2010.
