Expansion Bowl Round II
I just can't help but to find out if any posters here follow the MISL enough to care.

Pennsylvania - 0 wins, 11 losses. 3.9 PPG. 17.3 PAG. 0-6 at home. Average attendance 725.
First meeting at St. Louis on November 22nd. Ambush 17, Roar 4.
Will both last the full season? Be back next year? Attendenance for this game will be _________ ?

Wow....This thread garnered quite the interest. About as much as the Ambush and Roar do I'd say....
While I'm glad for Pennsylvania (more importantly it's shell shocked goalie), the Ambush were clearly tired, or worse yet flat. As in, "Don't try to hard, we want to give the home crowd a reason for hope". The announced attendance of 4,632 must've been in a lounge area watching football.
I highly doubt that either team will be back next season unless Haines finds another sucker to sell the team to.
Past history tells us
1 - Sell them to a vaporware owner who doesn't know a soccer ball from a sock. But likes "Shiny websites and Team Logos".
2 - Start new league, make these the premier "Charter franchises"
2a - Sell new league for profit before first kick-off.
3 - (Heaven forbid) Buy MISL.
3a - Call it the "New and improved MISL" and sell for profit.

I went down to Reading with 2 cars (8 fans) of the Syracuse Silver Knights game on December 1st, a 405pm kickoff. 3 of us decided to count the fans. We kept getting between 155 and 185. They still never released those numbers. I know my own team is guilty of this practice as well, but how many butts in the seats can an 0-11 team (now 1-11) get? They should have done a everyone gets in for a dollar kinda night.
