Sad thing is I spent time just outside of Reading and had looked into indoor soccer for the area because it's a great market. Haines is going to ruin it and steal from the players and employees. Ruining the market.

It's got a building that will work with new sports, it has a great downtown atmosphere, it has an untapped significant hispanic market and a local distinct media market to sell advertising in.

Wait a minute: since when does a team in the USL sphere of influence have resale value?

Does Haines know what he got himself into? The league, 95% of the time, prefers to profit off new territories rather than give a failing owner the satisfaction.

I still don't understand how what Haines does is not considered racketeering. He has over a decade of documented fraud.

If you take his franchise packets alone they have fraudulent data in them. "Sell 3,000 tickets a game" and a facility that seats 400. That would be like saying you own a car service and tell an investor you will be offering 3 rides at a time and only have 2 cars.

That is fraud.

Awesome Pregame/1st quarter youtube coverage from St. Louis tonight. The team logo on the screen and several people in the background discussing what could possibly be wrong with the transmission. Hopefully, they'll get it running as I kind of wanted to see the Wave beat them.

Not since Eddie Albert made cow sounds in the barn attempting to open the "moo activated" barn door on Green Acres; have I seen (or not seen) something so entertaining.

They changed the link, and now seem to be up and running.

Obviously, it won't be live after 10 pm Central time.
Just as I predicted, both teams are currently for sale.
Could I ask your source on that one?

Before the league even started, he was advertising an indoor soccer team for sale in Missouri. That ad was quickly removed. He is now advertising that he is "helping" several team owners that are looking to sell their teams. Some are located in Missouri and Pennsylvania.

Haines does not care about long term value. He starts and flips new teams as quick as possible.

Do a Google search and enter "Bizquest Andrew Haines". You will see the listing "Multiple Sports Teams for Sale".
