Baltimore Blast leave MASL
Hope Philadelphia is one of the teams that joins the new league!

Major Arena Soccer League: The owner of the Baltimore Blast stated the team has left the one-year-old MASL and will form a new indoor soccer league with several other MASL teams likely to join. The new league would operate with individual franchises rather than under a single-entity ownership model.

Looks as if we'll soon have yet another indoor soccer league. One can certainly question some of what happened in the MASL last year, so it's not like Hale doesn't have a point, but constantly starting a new league hasn't been the answer.

Did I already spout a conspiracy theory that the reason Hale agreed to the MASL in the first place was as a medium to recruit owners to the next league? It doesn't feel like it, yet I've said plenty lately.
The first question becomes who can he really pull away.
If you find the second question being "how long will THAT last," um, yeah.
