Hopefully with the new location they will be able to pack the arena. Otherwise, this could mark the end of them. But I'm optimistic on the idea of moving the team.
Finally saw a game this season on 11/23. Sockers won big (14-4 I think). They had just over 4k in the arena, and they only use the lower level seats, which means they can't hold much more than 5 or 6k. The place is still a dump; the security to get in is ridiculous (empty your pockets and full pat-down--airport security would be so proud); but the important thing is, the Sockers are once again truly an indoor team.

PASL Points and Assists Records Fall as Sockers Crush Arizona 16-2

Kraig Chiles matched a career high with a nine point game, racking up five goals and four assists to set a new PASL single-season points record, as the San Diego Sockers smashed the Arizona Storm 16-2 in front of 4,703 at the Valley View Casino Center. Chiles' five goals gave him 54 for the season, already bettering his league goals mark, and the nine points gave him 70 for the year, besting Bernie Lilavois' 2008-09 PASL record of 68 points in a season. Aaron Susi added a goal and five assists, giving him 29 assists for the year, also a new PASL record.
