The second version of the Madison Ice Muskies did not make it to a regular-season game, as the franchise has been moved to Wooster as the Korn Kings.

Ice Muskies out; Korn Kings in
Maybe a case of D.O.A.
The KornDogs (Apologies to ABAREDWHITEBLUE) have gone with no press
coverage in Wooster/Akron/Canton since the announcement.
The club is part owned by Lapeer's owner, who did work some magic in
the Flint/Lapeer area, but can only spread himself so far.
To further complicate the situation. Lapeer's game at Queen City was
postponed tonight (Poor ice conditions). QC's website goes on to
apologize and offer perks to ticket holders, and those who arrive at the
arena unaware of the postponement...But this can only go on so long.
Translation: 10 games so far this season. 3 not played as scheduled. Not
counting if Madison was supposed to play this weekend...
How long can this go on?

The Korn Kings were announced on October 27 and will try to host their first game on November 5.
Teams have failed with a year to prepare -- they're going to really try to ice a team with 10 days' notice? And with no idea, apparently, whether any of the Madison players (if there were any) are going to relocate to Wooster?
All I can figure is that the league needs 6 teams... otherwise, they'd have just folded Madison and reworked the schedule.
