Once more, too bad for the fans in Fraser, MI.
Hopefully the other 4 teams make it though the season.

It has. American Pro Hockey is reporting the formation of the West Michigan Blizzard (player rights from Detroit and the non-drafted Chicago players have been shifted to West Michigan). The new team will play in Muskegon. I wonder what kind of ice time they're going to get working around the IHL Lumberjacks...
There's also a new league structure. I sense it may cause some reaction.
From the release: "In the wake of the resignation of Commissioner Bob Langdon and another league associate, the All American Hockey League announced a new corporate structure. Evansville IceMen General Manager, Chip Rossetti, has been voted into the position of acting League President. Joe Kolodziej, from Battle Creek has been named Vice President, Matt Wiedenhoeft was named Treasurer and Sue Anderson, from the Chi-Town Shooters, is the League Secretary."

Isn't this pretty much everyone that is still involved with this sham (sans, Madison who wish they wern't)?

I think the AAHL's PR is pretty "CIFL-esque." You know why? Check this out:

The NAHL's Chicago Hitmen will start play in 2010-11 in the West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows, Illinois (same place the Blaze played at).

Chicago is huge. There are enough people for several minor league baseball teams. It's just expensive to operate there, and single A and junior level hockey teams don't have big budgets.
