From the scheduled opener.
Wed., September 19 Sacramento at Las Vegas 9:00 p.m
Not every team has a lease, players?, tickets sold???? Based on the quiet of the boards, does anyone even care with 32 NFL teams prepared to start? Not to mention college and high school...

Does this game go on as scheduled?

I would love to know what's going on behind the scenes. My guess is that coaches and GMs are pulling their hair out, waiting for ownership to get things finalized. This league's management is truly amazing in its ability to completely muck something up. I could understand if they didn't have cash, but they do and that's the sad part about the UFL.

It's like the owners actually thought they'd make profit from this, and they now realize that can't happen so they don't want to support the league anymore

More like the owners intended to play "follow the leader", not realizing that there wasn't any leader to follow.

Except for the NFL, which obviously didn't want anything to do with them.

"Enhanced" schedule. That's high comedy right there, folks.
Old enough to remember when bashing the ABA was fun.

I really feel for those who have to continually stretch to put a positive spin on the UFL's foibles.
