I did some research on why the predators were not participating this season
So you read my post: //www.oursportscentral.com/boards/ ... hp?t=21969
lol.
Great week in minor league basketball, it begins with a reporter getting tossed for a bogus reason and ends with a team getting tossed for a bogus reason.
500 average out of 2900 seats paid admission in a coliseum/ arena
in minor league is good business Sam. Plus they played good basketball.
I think this is on the league....
Bloomington beat the Chicago Fury (ABA) last Friday. From their website:
The Flex, flat after an emotional couple of days, overcame a slow start and early seven-point deficit to beat the Fury 123-104 in front of 1,843 fans at U.S. Cellular Coliseum on a night billed as Community Appreciation Night.
The Fury agreed to play the game less than twelve hours before tipoff, after the nights original opponent, the Chicago Steam of the ABA, withdrew at the request of ABA head Joe Newman because the team was participating in the ABA championship series next week in Shreveport, La.
Also, the Steam beat the Fury twice by an average of 28 points so I think it would have been a much more competitive game.
Did you reach out to threepop?
Hopefully Sauk Valley and Bloomington can find a quality league to land in next year, both teams are very well run and deserve a league that is also.
Yeah kinda hard to keep a straight face about a well run league.
Nope...no one has reached out to threepop.
