The Charleston Gunners Gets Their First Win
On 01/08/2012 the Charleston Gunners defeated the Dayton Flyers 107 - 98 in Montgomery, WV on the West Virginia Tech's campus. This was a very exciting game to witness. Great defense, big time shots and impressive above the rim action. I will definitely make the trip to St. Albans on the 01/22/2012 to watch this well coached team compete. Great job coaching and a well organised program, you can tell the owner knows what he is doing. It is sad that they don't get more support from the city of Charleston.
Way to go Gunners keep it up...

Yep. We never read "great job front office staff for packing the place with 4000 fans!" We always read, it's to bad the city does not support them. As a former sales team member I know the importance of having an aggresive group sales department. Problem is, none of these teams seem to have that. Without a solid group sales staff you are doomed to fail. Calling Sev, another team will need your help to finish out the season.
That's fantastic, 4000 fans!! I hope they can keep that up. It really surprises me that the local newspaper the Dially Mail did not have anything on it. I checked their online website and nothing. It would be nice if the Gunners could get support from them. I would think that would be automatic.
Sauk Valley had over 3,000 and Rochester over 6,000 so that puts Charleston among the leaders in the PBL.
