I suppose in a sense it is a missed date. I just checked the FHL's website and lo' and behold they have changed the Edmonton camp date to April 21 to April 23. Is there anyone who lurkes on these boards who anticipates going to the camp in Toronto on the 13th? If so I would love to hear how it goes.

Any former Canadian Baseball Leaguers still around?

Did any former CBL players find work for the 2004 season? I know a few former Saskatoon Legends ended the 2003 season in the Northern League, but I haven't heard if any of them will be back for 2004. Does anyone know if any CBLers played winter ball? I know Hiro Shimizu and Derek Cockroft went to pl...

Are there any professional women's baseball leagues? To the best of my knowledge the closest thing is the National Pro Fastpitch (softball) which is covered under the other section here.

Wow no wonder Saskatchewan Place wanted nothing to do with the FHL. So does anyone know if Larsen even has any legit leases in place for his 6 teams? Who even owns the team in Calgary? Where are the teams going to play? There is alot of unanswered questions. Frankly, I am not surprised. Has anyone e...

I wish I knew too.......this league looks very promising but a glitzy website doesn't mean squat until you've got a product on the floor. But at this point I would hazard a guess and say that this season would be a no go.

Federal Hockey League

If you click on the camps link it says: The Federal Hockey League will be holding two parity camps for contracted players, as well as others who may quali...
