[quote=""Pounder""]Lesson # 33 in the annals of keeping your league alive: get off NBC. See XFL. See the decline of Notre Dame. See the anger of Olympic fans with NBC (even if the ratings were up this time). See how the NHL has lost some relevance the past few years. NBC simply s...

[quote=""afdave""]That is a bit strong Jamie.... Say what you want about the AFL & af2, and obviously the new "AFL 2.0" league is a hodge podge of previous AFL & af2 owners and staff, but.... those leagues have NEVER outright cancelled games or failed to finish ...

The only teams from the IHL going anywhere, anyway would be Ft.Wayne, Bloomington and Quad City. Muskegon's attendance was minimal at best. If the IHL does tank, the above 3 franchises would realign with another league. Ft.Wayne avgs. over 8000+ per game. Regardless of the ownership issue, as I've s...

CHL / IHL merge?
That MIGHT be the scenario if not this off season, the next.
IHL will have to swallow their pride and hook up with a PHPA
league in the CHL. If the one time dream of realignment of
AA hockey (30 teams, 3 leagues) is to become a reality,
something's got to give.

Very nice pics Ken. Looks like a nice arena too.
The Purdue I was referring are the Boilermakers.
A couple of their home games have been in Dyer.
A couple others have been in Indy. The Boilers
have no ice facility in West Lafayette. Their club
team recently was moved up to D-2.
