I spoke with someone at the team office and was told that officially teams can't begin practice until 4 weeks prior to the start of the season. The season starts on April 10, so I would expect that official practices would begin four weeks prior to that.

Stupid site won't let me vote, but I say stay with the APFL. I think there is a lot more to this league than meets the eye. Maybe there is a method to the madness! Heck, they didn't have their schedule out until a week and a half prior to the season last year, so give it a rest.

The NIFL doesn't have a commissioner. Instead, they have a three person executive board and a dictator.

I have been informed that nothing prior to April 10th is a part of the official APFL schedule, so any dates before that must be exhibitions or otherwise.

Spoke with my sources here late last week. Although tardy, it seems that an announcement will be forthcoming late this week, if not shortly thereafter. The news must be good, because everyone is smiling!
