Was that website thrown together but a child or what? A couple things to note: The immediate thing you see is a request for money and teams to openly join. The league mentions nothing about a footprint or business model or league rules. No mention of league requirements on buildings, market size etc...

This should be interesting. Looks like the Columbus Lions base have decided to go ahead and run their own league. I cant think of any team with more experience to do this. Columbus has been in nearly every Indoor Football league in the country. They always draw well and have several titles. They sho...

I think in terms of Atlanta, if they did not put it in Gwinnett they would still have Macon, Birmingham, and Chattanooga as closer options.

No clue what Miami will eventually do long term.

For what it is worth MLB is not done in trying to promote baseball in China. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/columnist/baig/2016/01/07/mlb-reaches-deal-le-sports-stream-baseball-china/78396918/ MLB & AFL are really apples to oranges though. I would also argue that MLB has a greater reach with...

I thought it was weird that the games were on ESPNU to begin with. With these numbers, we may see the package move to ESPN News or some other channel in the future.

It would not make much sense to carry them just on ESPN3/Watch ESPN since the games are already carried online through YouTube in HD.

Not sure what the blogger was expecting was going to happen here. This type thing happens all the time. Even recently there was a WWE conflict with an NBA playoff game. There is normally an order of operation type of agreement put in place. For example the Georgia Dome in Atlanta is home to the Falc...

Paul, maybe I can sell you on this then? Does the NBA need a Summer League? I mean really, do they REALLY need a summer league? They probably dont but they have one. It gets bigger coverage every off-season! I have been thinking if the NBA has a summer league which is a very short compact season tha...
