Only problem with Buffalo is that it's a failing city in more ways then one. I doubt the people of Buffalo will shell out the money for a team, especially when you look at the avg. household income there.

I could be wrong though.

Sorry but there will be no more expansion for a mighty long time. It's just not happening.

8000+ huh? See the D-League needs to be in cities that don't have many other sports there and a community that embraces basketball. So far so good with the expansion teams in my estimation.

The Knicks may not have a D-League team next year, but they will be getting their team in Harlem, that's for sure. It's pretty much a done deal. The amount of jerseys they sell alone will be in the multi-millions. Some places I would like to see a team if possible are Trenton, NJ (for the Nets) afte...

It looks like Arkansas will be the team that moves. The franchise will not fold but should be moving their operations to La Crosse, Wisconsin. There are only going to be 16 teams in the D-League for '07-08, guaranteeing that there are two NBA teams per D-League team (not including the Lakers team). ...

D-League coming to Des Moines in 07-08.

http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070215/SPORTS14/702150431/-1/BUSINESS04 Check the article, but that raises the league to 15 teams (or two NBA teams per D-League team). The article says that several more teams could be added, although I have heard the following, still not s...

Here's another team coming to the D-League.

Along with Fort Wayne, Des Moine, Utah and possibly Reno for next year.

Like you, I am not overly impressed with the schedules, however, I feel that come next year with the addition of a good 4-8 more teams, the scheduling will be much better and the road trips will make more sense. You still want to see different players coming to your town, but it's not that easy, sin...

This is not true. The D-League is going to be for their youth players correct, but that's because they want to fill their benches with older more experienced veterans (like the Elie's, Armstrong's and Boykins) who can help their teams win now.

I think Gary will be in the D-League personally because the Bulls would put their young players in Gary, which means Bulls fans would support the team there as well (as local Gary fans). The D-League is not going to be the D-League everyone saw this year, but it will evolve, which is what has to hap...
