In the most karmically wonderful result in the history of American soccer, the Brooklyn Italians defeated New York Cosmos B 3-2 last night to eliminate Rocco Commisso's mouth from the US Open Cup.

The other two NASL teams in NPSL clothing did win, and will play in the first round on Wednesday night.

This isn't a surprise - the ECHL plays a mostly-regional schedule, except for those teams that want to travel, and they'll book them a short swing in another area.
