Affiliate Players

Does anybody know if affiliate players are able to sign with any of the 30 teams? I went to a Maine Red Claws game and they handed me a free program that had a page explaining the DLeague rules. One rule was that Affiliate Players are only able to sign with the affiliates nba team. However I went to...

I don't see why not. They still will have their 450 jobs paying at least league minimum. This will be beneficial for players. The dleague would have a higher level of play and it would be more beneficial for current first round picks to go to that league and develop.

I find attending games in Maine to be a great experience. Boston is generous having supplied four affiliated players and assigning four different nba players to play in Maine. They are very competitive having qualified for the playoffs. The atmosphere is great with a full arena on most nights of a l...

Vancouver Canucks affiliated with the Portland Pirates

Could the Vancouver Canucks become the next affiliation with the team in Portland Maine? The Buffalo Sabres have purchased the Rochester Americans. leaving the Portland Pirates without an affiliation. Manitoba Moose will be heading to PEI and will not be affiliated with the Canucks. Does that leave ...

Ken the Halifax Rainmen is still in existance

Bangor now has a better chance of supporting a sports team now that its citizens supported a referendum on building a 65 million dollar facility. http://new.bangordailynews.com/2011/05/05/business/arena-backers-eager-for-project-to-start/ Should it be a hockey team or a basketball team I don't know....

Gary Splash

I have to agree that you have a nice venue in Gary. However is it too big for the crowds you are generating? I see the Splash games are better attended than the All Stars. But even at the Splash home opener one side of the arena looks quite empty. What is the capacity of your arena and what crowds a...

Maine Red Claws

It's not smart to make decisions based on generalizations like the D League should not expand east of the appalachians. Look at the Maine Red Claws they have been in existance for two years and they have sold out every game. Their first year of existance they were second in the league in corporate s...

Carter

The Frost Heaves I read have never turned a profit. So they too are not an exception.

I tought I saw Q's photograph years ago released by some county? Has he already received a trial for some other offense? Or has it taken YEARS for the grand jury to indict him after he was arrested?
