Sioux Falls Skyforce
I was looking over the rosters in the CBA. The Yakima Sun Kings have a former Sioux Falls Skyforce player from back in the late 90s. Jason Sasser...who was a one of the best players in franchise history of the Skyforce, is now playing for the Sun Kings. This would be his 11th season of professional ...

Northeast Teams: I would say they are perhaps talking to the Albany Patroons of the CBA who have a very good ownership group. so expect the NBDL to rob the CBA again. Teams from the CBA that may be interested in coming over to the NBDL are probally the Albany Patroons, Yakima Sunkings (if they get a...

Actually, most of the time, Attendance on opening night is high. but most of the time, your average attendance will average about 1000-1500 fans fewer than your opening night. so expect Sioux Falls to average around 4000-5000 fans a game this year. I think it will take some time to back to where the...

Omaha would be a very good fit for the NBDL. Omaha did manage to average 3500-4000 fans per game during their first run at pro basketball. The Omaha Racers coached by Mike Thibault (now in Connecticut, WNBA) had some great players in its hay day (Tim Legler, Sebastion O'Neal, Mark Wade). Omaha made ...

Sioux Falls Skyforce News
Former Sioux Falls Skyforce point guard, Corey Gaines, was promoted to Head Coach of the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA. Corey Gaines played in Sioux Falls for one year (1991-92) averaging 18.0 ppg, and 8.3 apg. Corey was one of the all time best point guards in the CBA. I beleive he is listed in the T...

Yakima would be a very good market for the NBDL. THey have a great fan base for basketball, and are the only thing going in that town. Dont blame the team for a lack of Ownership. The Tribe is a mess, and dont deserve to own a team. I would hope that the original ownership group (1990-1999) would bu...

say what you want about the CBA, but atleast they can stand on their own, and they have 11 teams this year. both leagues have their problems. the NBDL wlil stupid decisions as well. they will go to big markets (500,000 and above) which is stupid. I want a league with Veteran players also. CBA=AAA NB...

Yes, Fort Wayne will be a very good market for the NBDL. they had a CBA team from 1992-1999. they were always near or at the top of the attendance standings. I believe they lead teh CBA 2 times in the mid 90s in attendance averaging between 4,500-5500 fans a game. Between Ft Wayne, Rapid City, Oklah...
