What could really establish the UFL
I think the biggest thing the UFL is going to do, and what I think will really propel it in the sports world is the IPO they are talking about. There are People and Countries, think of China that dump tons of money on any American IPO that comes along. I think alot of folks world wide would love to ...

08/08/2008
August 8, 2008 is the date that the league will start playing. I just recieved a Holiday greeting email card from the UFL. It had Rudolph the red nosed reindeer dressed up in a football uniform. I was pleasently suprised to see a holiday greeting from the UFL. Within the UFL Happy Holiday card was t...

If done right................
I really think if this league is done right, and I mean done right. And I am not so sure how the NFL officails play into this, I truly think this could be the real buffer between College stars who do not make it in the NFL right away and guys who mature slowly like a Kurt Warner type. It could also ...

NFL AAFL connection
With everyone starting to wonder aloud weather the AAFL spawned because of the demise of NFL Europe I guess this answers the question. I wonder how involved the NFL is with the AAFL besides just supplying referee's in a kind of working relationship. Is the NFL siding with the AAFL because it is the ...

Every spring league has failed!
I think the smartest thing the UFL has done is plan a tradional fall football league. Spring is for other sports. And think about this, every league, think about it, the XFL, SFL, WLAF, USFL, and maybe we will see the AAFL have all made the same exact mistake with spring schedules. FOOTBALL IS A FAL...

Rams80 Yea, but think about this.
Here is the deal. Every Football league with the exception of one has made the dumb mistake of playing there schedule in the spring. Remember the exception was the AFL, and in away they are still around. You have to give the UFL credit for trying to succeed where the others did not. I know I will be...

Would the CFL ever consider coming back down South again?
My question is this. If the Bills ever left Buffalo do you think the CFL would put a team in Buffalo? I know there is alot of speculation about the Bills leaving Buffalo and I think that would be one city that the CFL would have alot of luck in, think Labbatts Beer........

A great AAFL Championship idea!
I think if the AAFL really wants to emulate the College Football experience they should have several of the news media and AAFL Coaches come together every week and rank the 6 teams in the order they think they should be ranked. That group should then go ahead and contact the BCS officails and of co...

What the UFL is doing right!
I think if you look through the graveyard of other Football leagues that have came and gone you will notice the big difference with them and the UFL. Think about all of the upstart leagues, XFL, WLAF, USFL, ETC..... They all thought it was a good idea to play in the spring. I think the smartest thin...
