Hey Monty, Absolutely talking about Fox. I've been wondering a lot lately about what's become of the old players. Time to start looking them up online. My sister, Yvonne, ran into Nick Guerra the other day, so we're all caught up on him. That leaves about a dozen more (I can't remember them all, and...
As a fan, I despise the DH. National League ball is FAR more interesting than the American League variety. I applaud the GBL for taking this step and hope it spreads throught out all the independent leagues. I also feel that the DH in a league like the Golden does absolutely ...
Completely disregarding the fact that it is American drug laws and American drug users who finance the chaos and violence presently gripping Mexico, I find this fear of Mexico to be almost shameful. Once upon a time, Americans were afraid serious powers like the Soviet Union....

It is sad that St. George couldn't support the team. We went to up there once and it was the only GBL town we had been in where the locals (our server at Ruby Tuesday) actually knew about their team.

My teenage nephew thinks it's so cool, but he won't try it, for fear of hitting himself :) Maybe after All Stars are over I can convince him to give it a try. :)

Capitals. I like that. Here's hoping they have a great season and the GBL continues to thrive. Now take advantage of the economy's downturn and start pointing out how much cheaper it is to take your family to a GBL game as opposed to an MLB game.
You're looking to get that player back ? Um...what is that? Or did you mean our player bags from the 05-06 season? If that's what you meant, I know they're not issuing them in the AWL, at least they didn't when I went out and played a little. Did you contact KO to see if you ...

Gone, but not forgotten?

Oh, the misery. San Diego Surf Dawgs are no longer a pull down option on the "Select Team" menu. Of course it was silly that it was there at all after the Dawgs left, but it represented a bit of hope to us down here. I'm off to my own little pity party now. The rest of you enjoy the day :)

I haven't looked at the schedule itself yet, but I like the explanation on why Long Beach is in the Northern Division (proximity to LAX for travel, for those who haven't read the release). St. George is quite a distance from its nearest airport (Las Vegas, I assume).
It's been a while since I joined in the conversation, but I haven't had much to offer. Today I offer but one simple question: What about San Diego and the Surf Dawgs? :-D
We drove past USD's Cunningham Stadium about a week ago. None of the upgrades have started yet. ...
