But I think BP makes a good point. Outside of AFL, the reason to play in AF2 or any of the other indoor leagues mentioned should be to advance, unless of course you are playing for your hometown team and working a good job at the same time.

Yea, I would say that most of the league's that know what they are doing (AFL/2, UIF, CIFL, WIFL) won't be adding teams 2 and 3 months before they kickoff, no matter who it is. Especially after schedules have been released, etc.

TideGM on the AIFA board says that they lost a player who is going to play for the Blackbirds and said they are playing in the Baltimore Arena (First Mariner). Thus the kiss of death has been planted on that team and they have not even been announced yet.

Unless they are playing at First Mariner Arena one would have to think that this is a travel team.

On the AIFA/L's fans message board they claim that 3 teams from other leagues are calling, so maybe this is one of the teams they are planning to have jump.

The AIFA is planning on the team in Baltimore for 2008. This was talked about in detail on their fans board. Not sure why a minor league would put a team in the heart of downtown during a major league season, but oh well. Good luck to that.

Doesn't help when the NHL team in the same city wins a Stanley Cup either.

Must have went to the Thunderdome and figured since it is a quarter of the size of a real indoor field he might as well charge that way too!!!
