who else is leaving

I saw the my-space page for lake land that is bad news for sure. I also noticed that danvile had been taken off the AIFA web site. I did not see a press release about them leaving the league. I know the arena that danvile played in refused to renew there lease. This is better than any day time soap ...

so much for being the elite.

I thought the wifl was supposed to be the elite of the minor leagues. So I am to understand that Daytona has financial problems, we all know the issues the titans have with funds. Looks to me like there may only be 3 teams playing in the wifl come mid season. Thats to bad, I was realy hoping to see ...

Speed have new owners

The Speed are now owned by the Bakers. Who came on half way through the season as minority partners. The way I see it all new leagues will have growing pains I think the way M&M handled the league this year was fine, did they have issues yes what big company does not. Just a little side note thi...

They bought 28% of the league they made a commercial that only aired on the afl website about how great the coverage was going to be and outside of airing the game they realy dont do any thing else. What about a show like inside the AFL, or at least a pregame show or ...

game attendance

I was just wondering how the turn out has been this year so far at other arena's for the games. I attend the speed games and for a first year team in an area out in the sticks they draw a pretty good crowd. It seems to grow each game not massive numbers but over all pretty good. I dont know maybe 20...

dissapointed with ESPN

I am kind of dissapointed with the ESPN coverage of the AFL. There has been
no pregame show at least not since the first week. I really thought they would have done a better job with it since they bought 28% of the league. Here is hoping for better days.

I just want to give props to the Speed organization they worked with our church group and set us up in great seats for all 36 of us. Most of the teams have updated there websites with the new rosters. Give Mink and Moris a break. They took over a complete mess with the aifl these things take time. I for one have never really had a problem contacting the speed with any questions I have had. Candice in the front office there has al...
