wow, I just saw we traded Benson. Sad to see him go, but he didn't fit in too well this year. I also saw that Iowa just signed Denham Brown, that sucks. We would have we got rid of his rights? makes no sense to me. Couldn't we have kept his rights since he was waived due to injury?

I was thinking the same thing about Denham Brown. We did just get Romel Beck, who looked great tonight. I watched the game online. Also found some nice hightlights of Beck online, had a nice 4-pt play over Kobe in the fiba games.

Regina is less than 5 hours from Minot and Winnipeg is less than 6. Not too many other cities within that distance from Minot.

We got Richard Hendrix! Also according to Rod Benson's blog he is either going to go to the DLeague or go back to Europe (he said he would know soon).

Any chance Rod Benson comes back to Bismarck? Would we still have his rights if he were to sign with the DLeauge or does he get picked up by whoever is first in the player pool?

I grew up watching the Wizards play in the IBA. I think I actually have some programs and game photos, but I'll have to look thru some boxes. I'll let you know if I find anything.

well Blake is gone for now. Also there was a rumor on in the New York Dailey News that the Kings were thinking about signing Denham Brown. Does anyone know if the DLeague still has the rule that if a team has a call up that they are first on the waiver wire?

I knew a guy that you to work for a DLeague team as a Tickets Sales Exec. and he only made 28K and I don't think he had any benefits, but I think he did get some sort of commissions for hitting goals, etc. This was in 2005, so you may make more, but a career in sports is usually bad pay and bad hours.
